Rise Against Hunger

Each year, the Wake Forest-Rolesville (NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., in partnership with Pearls in Partnership Foundation, Inc., proudly joins forces with Rise Against Hunger to combat food insecurity on a global scale. What started as a meaningful service project has grown into a highly anticipated annual event, increasing in both impact and participation every year.

Through the generosity of our brothers, community partners, and supporters, we have successfully raised thousands of dollars to fund the preparation and distribution of tens of thousands of meals for families in need. This year alone, we raised over $4,500, allowing us to pack and prepare more than 10,100 meals—directly benefiting communities in the Philippines.

The impact of a single meal extends far beyond nourishment—it provides hope, strength, and opportunity. As our chapter continues to grow, so does our commitment to service. We remain dedicated to expanding this initiative each year, ensuring that more families receive the assistance they need.
